Christmas, Christmas Time Is Near, Time for Toys and Time for Cheer!

As a little girl, I remember being soooo excited when December rolled around and Mom and Dad took us to Dad's Christmas party at BYU. Free food, fun craft, lots of activities--I loved it! And thirty years later, BYU continues to put on a great party. Since Grandpa Bar is STILL employed there after almost 40 years I get to take his grandchildren to enjoy the same party I did! Natasha bailed on our fun as she deemed herself too old for such frivolity. Her siblings had a blast!

You're as Cuddly as a Cactus...

The dancers always look forward to performing at the Festival of Trees and this year was no exception. When I first saw Natasha's Santa-esque costume, it looked a little sad and I told her teacher I'd be happy to help spice it up a bit. In just a few hours before they hit the stage, her teacher and I sewed on all the white fur collars and I purchased the big, black belts to add to every costume. I think the results were much improved and so did the girls! Coming up with the perfect "Who-ville" hair-do was also a lot of fun--Tash looks quite crazy, I think! I always love watching these beautiful girls dance together--they are adorable!

Fynn loves to watch Tasha dance!
