Jeremiah Was A Bullfrog

Or, in this case, a day camp designed to entertain a whole bunch of active, curious, and eager boy scouts! Bright and early, Jessica and I (the newest team called to lead the Wolf Den) loaded up the cars with seven boys and headed up the canyon to Camp Jeremiah Johnson! The boys participated in several activities including shooting, rafting, rope-making, tee-pee building, gold-mining and archery, with a little lunch break thrown in for good measure. They especially liked a water-dunking activity and the “general store” where they could buy various trinkets and treasure boys think are grand (plastic tomahawks, bear-claw necklaces, candy!) Jessica and I just followed them around being good observers and kid-wranglers with no participation necessary (which was fine by us!) By early afternoon, we were headed home with tired, hot, but bead-laden and happy boy scouts.
