Sun, snow, sleds...and a really slippery hillside! In keeping with our sort-of annual tradition to break out the sleds sometime after the Christmas rush is over, we hooked up with Mark, Mindy and kids (with a little Nate thrown in for good measure!) and headed to Rock Canyon Park for what turned out to be some serious aerobic activity. After a few air-catching runs down a somewhat icy hillside, and a crazy climb back up, the kid complaining began. I knew we'd soon have a coupe on our hands if we didn't fix the situation pronto! By simply moving several yards to our right, we found a much shorter slope that had the little ones smiling again. Except for Nate--he did a crazy jump that left him with a serious headache and the threat of more loose teeth! What is with that thrill-seeker??
