The kids are always super "egg-cited" for Grammy Su and Grandpa Bar’s Easter egg hunt! This year felt even more authentic than ever with Grandpa’s custom-built pen (would I expect anything less??) for his newly purchased baby chics! The kids loved peeking through the wire-caged top at the little brown and yellow balls of feathers. A couple of the kids even got brave enough to hold them.
So, after Grammy’s lovely Easter fried-chicken dinner with strawberry shortcake for dessert, she rounded up all her chics (the human ones, that is) for the backyard egg hunt. She and Grandpa always do an awesome job of stashing tons of eggs full of goodness around their “park” for the kids to run in search of. (Oh, and don't mind my laziness in offering a grocery sack to gather the loot--I had no idea where their baskets were!) We let the “littles” get a head start and off they went! Discovering what is inside at the end of the hunt is always a delight as the grandparents stash toys and money along with the candy inside those eggs.
Thanks, Grammy and Grandpa for another great hunt! (Mmmm…a Reese’s peanut-butter egg…don’t mind if I do!)

looks like fun! i'm hungry for fried chicken all of the sudden!
