Dane has become the athletic pontification of "jack-of-all-trades, master of none" at our house! Oh sure, he's dabbled in soccer, given baseball a whirl and was even pretty pumped about playing flag-football. But none of those sports has really tickled his fancy. So, when the Thacker boys started being actively involved in lacrosse and loving it, I decided to have Dane join in all the fun! He and Jackson played their first season of LAX with Jackson's dad, Jim, as the coach. But, hey, how come no one told them running was involved? A LOT of running! Dane doesn't DO running...that requires a lot of effort! (LOL!) So, we'd haul him suited up in his LAX pads and gear to suffer through every hot practice and bribe him at every game ('One dollar for a goal!' Shayne yelled from the sidelines!) and, what do you know?? That little Dane actually survived LAX season and lived to tell about it; he even scored a couple of goals! We're not sure he's a lifelong committed player just yet...but here's to hoping...
