We Thank Thee, Oh God, For A Prophet

Several of the young women in our ward were chosen to be a part of the choir for the Young Women broadcast. We would have loved to have had Natasha participate, but, for reasons unbeknownst to us, she and a few of her friends were not chosen. However, I felt it was important that we take the opportunity to attend the meeting in our church's beautiful conference center to support our ward young women. It was an excellent meeting with the emphasis on this year's young women motto: Stand in Holy Places. I loved the message shared that finding our individual holy places and standing in them as an example to the world is such an important part of our lives. I think for Natasha, her dancing constitutes such a place. She is buoyed up, motivated and edified through her artistic expression of dance. It is her joy and her passion and I dearly love that about her. We were privileged to be able to sit in the presence of our church authorities and I so enjoyed feeling the great spirit that was in the meeting and sharing that with my own truly special daughter.

Such a great experience to sit amidst our Prophet and his counselors.
